Vocation Ministry was invited to participate in the Eucharistic Congress in Las Cruces, NM and speak to the priests, as well. It was my first time to New Mexico, and I found its deserts and mountains enchanting.
What was so special, besides the amazing people and food, was that Leticia Cantú Ramirez was coming with me. You have met Leticia before (middle next to Bishop), as she has given several workshops in Spanish. This time was different since her brother is the Bishop of Las Cruces Bishop Oscar Cantú.
We were giving a talk about Vocation in the Family, and it was exciting to be in a place where people are on fire for their faith. We met parishioners who drove many miles to participate in the outdoor Mass, Eucharistic Procession, and talks. God is so good! St. Alphonsus Liguori, pray for us!
