General Intercessions

Praying for vocations during the general intercessions at Mass is one of the most powerful ways to keep the call to priesthood, consecrated life, and sacramental marriage front and center in parish life. These prayers serve as a weekly reminder that fostering vocations is a responsibility we all share. 

When parishioners hear these petitions regularly, it helps normalize the idea of discerning a vocation—and shows those already discerning that their community is praying with and for them.
